South Korean fashion company Handsome Corp. announced on Wednesday the opening of its first global flagship store, System and System Homme Paris, in the Marais district of Paris, France. The store, set to open on June 20, spans two floors with a total area of 470 square meters, making it the largest among the 147 System and System Homme stores worldwide.
The store’s design concept, “Seoul, where the past and present coexist,” was developed in collaboration with renowned domestic and international designers and artists. The interior features traditional Korean wooden architecture patterns known as “dancheong,” blending cultural heritage with modern aesthetics.
System and System Homme Paris will showcase over 400 items, including clothing and accessories, featuring exclusive lines introduced at Paris Fashion Week in 2019. The store aims to serve as a global logistics hub, offering worldwide shipping services to Europe, North and South America, and the Middle East through its newly launched online platform.
To celebrate the opening, Handsome plans a pop-up event for local customers at the prestigious Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris this July. The company also intends to accelerate the expansion of its global sales network by opening official stores in large retail spaces across Europe, North America, and other regions.
This strategic move marks Handsome Corp.’s commitment to expanding its international presence and bringing its unique blend of traditional and contemporary Korean fashion to a global audience.
