Hana Financial Group has opened its first business channel in Monterrey, Mexico, through Hana Bank Mexico, the company announced. Located near the U.S. border, Monterrey is a key industrial city, home to many South Korean auto parts companies. The new office will provide corporate clients, expatriates, and local customers easier access to Hana Bank’s financial services.
Since entering Mexico in 2019, Hana Financial has focused on expanding its presence and diversifying its portfolio. The Monterrey office is part of the group’s broader effort to contribute to the Mexican economy while offering tailored financial solutions to businesses and individuals in the region.
To mark the office’s opening, the company donated 200 scientific calculators to students at a local charity, Escuela Villa de las Niñas Chalco, underscoring its commitment to supporting local communities. Hana Financial aims to deliver more localized services and promote growth in the region.
