ADATA Technology Co. recorded its strongest sales in 14 years, reaching NT$40 billion ($1.28 billion) in 2023, despite persistent weakness in consumer spending.

The Taiwanese memory module manufacturer saw its revenue climb 18.8% from a year earlier, with DRAM modules contributing nearly half of total sales. The company’s DRAM module revenue rose 17.5% to NT$18.82 billion, marking a six-year high and accounting for 47% of overall revenue.

Solid-state drive sales hit the second-highest level ever at NT$12.18 billion, up 14.1% year-on-year and representing about 30% of total revenue. Memory cards and USB drives made up the remaining 22.6%.

In December, the company reported revenue of NT$2.89 billion, with DRAM modules comprising 54.3% of sales and SSDs contributing 32.4%. Fourth-quarter revenue increased 4.9% sequentially to NT$9.79 billion.

Chairman Simon Chen noted that while global inflation dampened consumer demand recovery, the company’s expanded distribution network and flexible inventory management helped drive growth.
