ADATA Technology Co. expects to surpass its 2024 financial records this year as memory prices climb and artificial intelligence applications fuel demand for its products.
The Taiwanese memory module maker has been operating at full capacity since March, a situation likely to persist through July, Chairman Simon Chen said at a press conference ahead of Computex 2025. This production strain is expected to boost second and third quarter performance.
NAND flash memory contract and spot prices are projected to rise in the second quarter, with third quarter trends dependent on whether major manufacturers adjust their production cuts. For DRAM, DDR4 prices may increase more significantly than DDR5 in Q2 as major suppliers withdraw from the older technology.
ADATA reported revenue of NT$40.1 billion (US$1.26 billion) in 2024, its highest in 14 years, alongside record net income of NT$2.707 billion (US$85 million). Financial analysts predict continued growth in 2025, with earnings per share potentially matching last year’s levels despite an expanded share capital.
The company plans to begin small-scale shipments of server memory modules and solid-state drives in the fourth quarter to capitalize on AI server expansion. ADATA has also launched “TRUSTA,” a new enterprise storage brand targeting AI servers and data centers, which will debut its product line at Computex 2025.
