Thunder Tiger Corp. plans to unveil new US-manufactured drone components at Germany’s Xponential Europe exhibition, positioning itself as an alternative to Chinese suppliers in Western markets.
The Taiwan-based company will showcase its STEALTH Flight Controller H7 and STEALTH ESC 55A components at the event on February 18. These products comply with the US National Defense Authorization Act requirements, marking the firm’s push into defense-oriented markets.
Thunder Tiger is expanding production to Lake Forest, California, targeting US and European customers amid growing scrutiny of Chinese-made drone parts. The company currently manufactures all its military-grade first-person-view (FPV) drone components in Taiwan.
The manufacturer is also working with partners to join the Blue UAS list, a move that could strengthen its position in the US market where concerns about Chinese-made drone components have intensified.
The expansion comes as Thunder Tiger faces headwinds in its existing business. The company reported January consolidated revenue of NT$86.04 million (US$2.7 million), down 27.52% from a year earlier.
