Taiwan’s e-commerce service provider 91APP announced a strategic partnership with Dentsu Group on Monday to jointly develop retail media network (RMN) solutions, leveraging 91APP’s retail AI capabilities to enhance Dentsu’s media services.

The collaboration will power Dentsu’s newly launched “dentsu Retail” service, which integrates capabilities from the group’s agencies including Carat, dentsuX, and iProspect. 91APP will serve as Dentsu’s technical partner in this initiative.

Steven Ho, chairman of 91APP, said digital advertising is entering a new RMN era where retail AI will empower brands to improve advertising precision and market trend insights.

Luke Lu, CEO of Dentsu’s media services in Taiwan, noted that brands’ marketing needs have evolved from simple exposure to data-driven precision targeting and performance optimization as the retail media market rapidly expands.

Crown Wang, dentsu Retail convenor, added that RMN is reshaping Taiwan’s marketing ecosystem, becoming a critical link between brands and consumers. The partnership will leverage AI data capabilities and strategic integration to transform RMN from an advertising tool into a core engine for brand experience and media performance.
