Taiwan Mobile has taken a significant step in bolstering the 5G private network ecosystem by obtaining TIP mark certification and supporting Tailin Dentsu in achieving ISO 27001 certification. This initiative, backed by the Industrial Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, positions Taiwan Mobile as a leading force in integrating international standards with domestic technological advancements.
In 2023, Taiwan Mobile assisted Tailin Dentsu in securing the TIP mark certification, facilitating their entry into the global supply chain. This milestone accelerates Tailin Dentsu’s innovation in 5G applications, smart manufacturing, and digital development projects.
Through collaboration with the Industrial Research Institute and the Telecom Infra Project (TIP), Taiwan Mobile has become the first Taiwanese tech telecommunications company to prioritize TIP mark certification as a business criterion. This partnership underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing organizational information security and fostering international connectivity.
Zhu Xiaoxing, Chief Business Officer of Taiwan Mobile Enterprise Services, highlighted the company’s ongoing efforts to support ecosystem partners. To date, Taiwan Mobile has assisted five partners in obtaining TIP labels, further expanding the 5G private network ecosystem and establishing a global OpenRAN ecosystem. This strategic move aims to support Taiwanese manufacturers in entering the international market and advancing 5G smart manufacturing and generative AI applications.
