ANYCOLOR Inc., the Tokyo-based entertainment company behind virtual YouTuber agency Nijisanji, raised its full-year profit forecast after first-half earnings beat expectations on strong event ticket sales and merchandise demand.
The company now expects operating profit of ¥21 billion to ¥22 billion ($140 million to $147 million) for the fiscal year ending April 2026, up from a previous range of ¥20.5 billion to ¥21.5 billion. Revenue guidance was also increased to ¥52 billion to ¥54 billion ($347 million to $360 million).
Operating profit for the six months through October climbed 64% year-on-year to ¥11.07 billion ($74 million) on revenue of ¥26.33 billion ($176 million), a 52% increase. The company attributed the performance to better-than-anticipated demand for its world tour ticket sales and official store anniversary campaigns.
Still, quarterly momentum showed signs of moderation. Second-quarter operating profit rose just 0.7% from a year earlier, with margins contracting 2.3 percentage points to 38.5%. ANYCOLOR said the slowdown reflected timing of merchandise revenue recognition rather than weakening demand.
The company boosted its annual dividend forecast to ¥75 per share from ¥70 and established a formal policy targeting a payout ratio of at least 30%. ANYCOLOR’s talent roster stood at 170 virtual streamers as of October, up four from a year ago.
