DRAM manufacturer Nanya Technology reported consolidated revenue of NT$3.363 billion for June, reflecting a monthly increase of 0.35% and an impressive annual growth of 36.83%, making it the second-highest revenue month this year. For the first half of 2024, the company’s cumulative consolidated revenue reached NT$19.424 billion, marking a significant 44.4% increase year-on-year.

In the second quarter, Nanya’s revenue amounted to NT$9.922 billion, up 4.4% from the first quarter’s NT$9.503 billion. This growth was tempered by operational disruptions due to the 403 strong earthquake and the subsequent scrapping of wafers, which impacted revenue and added pressure to operations.

Despite these challenges, Nanya remains optimistic about the latter half of the year. The company anticipates an improvement in market conditions, which is expected to drive better performance and potentially shift the company from losses to profits in the third quarter.

Nanya is set to hold a press conference on July 10 to disclose its second-quarter financial results and provide an outlook on future operations. This briefing is highly anticipated as stakeholders look forward to detailed insights into the company’s strategies for navigating the recovering market.
