Eintracht Frankfurt, a club with a storied history exceeding 120 years, recently celebrated a significant achievement by winning the UEFA Europa League in the 2021/22 season, their first major European trophy in 42 years. This victory has bolstered the club’s reputation as a leading force in European football.

Kumho Tire has been making impressive strides in the European market, achieving over 20% annual sales growth for the past five years and a remarkable 44% increase last year alone. The company’s advanced technological capabilities have been consistently recognized in tire performance tests by prominent German automotive publications such as ADAC and AutoBild.

This strategic partnership aims to elevate Kumho Tire’s brand awareness and premium image in the German market. The brand will gain substantial exposure through various branding and advertising opportunities at Eintracht Frankfurt’s home games, on the club’s facilities, website, and social media platforms. Additionally, Kumho Tire plans to engage with Eintracht Frankfurt’s global fan base through joint events and promotional activities.

CEO Jeong Il-taek expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, “We are very pleased to form a partnership with Eintracht Frankfurt, a prestigious club with worldwide popularity. Through this partnership, we will actively pursue various activities to enhance Kumho Tire’s brand awareness and premiumization in the global market, including Germany.”

Eintracht Frankfurt President Axel Hellmann echoed this sentiment, saying, “We are delighted that Kumho Tire is joining us as a new partner on this journey. We hope this partnership will further expand the premium brand positioning for both companies.”

The collaboration between Kumho Tire and Eintracht Frankfurt is expected to bring mutual benefits, leveraging the club’s extensive fan base and the tire manufacturer’s technological advancements. Both entities look forward to a fruitful partnership that will enhance their respective brand positions in the global market.
