KRAFTON reported its strongest quarter ever as revenue jumped 60% to 719.3 billion won ($547 million) in Q3, driven by continued growth of its battle royale hit PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS across platforms.

The South Korean game maker saw operating profit surge 71% to 324.4 billion won compared to the same period last year. Year-to-date sales crossed 2 trillion won for the first time, reaching 2.09 trillion won through September.

The company’s flagship PUBG franchise maintained momentum through map updates and partnerships, including a Lamborghini collaboration that delivered record single-item sales. A September content update helped push concurrent players to 890,000, a new high for the title.

Looking ahead, KRAFTON is expanding its portfolio with several new games, including “inZOI” and “Dark and Darker Mobile,” which garnered attention at major gaming events. The company also secured mobile rights to the popular “Palworld” IP and plans to develop a mobile version.

The developer is betting heavily on artificial intelligence, having established a dedicated AI division in 2022. KRAFTON aims to integrate AI features across its games, including chatbots and motion generation technology. The company is also developing AI-powered characters designed to interact naturally with players.

In India, KRAFTON continues to grow its presence through localized content and esports tournaments for BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA.
