KRAFTON Posts Record Q1 As inZOI Breaks Sales Milestone

KRAFTON Inc. reported record-breaking first-quarter results, with sales surging 31.3% year-on-year to 874.2 billion won ($608 million) and operating profit jumping 47.3% to 457.3 billion won ($318 million).

The Korean gaming powerhouse saw robust performance across all business segments. Mobile platforms generated 532.4 billion won ($371 million), accounting for over 60% of total revenue, while PC contributed 323.5 billion won ($225 million) and console operations added 18.3 billion won ($12.5 million).

PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS remains a cornerstone of the company’s success, surpassing 1.4 million concurrent users in March despite being eight years since its initial release. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA also delivered strong results through local brand collaborations, including a partnership with Indian automaker Mahindra.

The standout performer was inZOI, KRAFTON’s new life simulation game launched in March. The title sold one million copies in its first week, making it the fastest-selling game in company history, with 95% of sales coming from outside South Korea.

Looking ahead, KRAFTON plans to expand its portfolio with several upcoming titles including extraction shooter Project Black Budget, console battle royale Project Valor, and Subnautica 2, which is scheduled for early access later this year. The company is also strengthening its position in India with the recent acquisition of Nautilus Mobile, developer of the popular cricket game with 250 million downloads.
