Inventec reveals a monthly revenue of 44.14 billion yuan for November, marking a 9.25% increase, with an annual uptick of 0.01%. Despite a cumulative annual revenue decrease of 6.02% in the first 11 months, the company remains optimistic about its performance in specific segments.

The fourth quarter sees Inventec’s notebook shipments exceeding expectations, with 1.6 million units shipped in November, representing a monthly and annual growth rate of 14.28%. The company notes that although notebook shipments are anticipated to decline compared to the third quarter, the rate is expected to improve to a mid- to low-single-digit percentage. Looking ahead, Inventec projects a 3% to 5% annual increase in notebook shipments for the full year in 2024.

Inventec attributes the positive trend in notebook shipments to better-than-expected performance, signaling resilience and adaptability in the face of market challenges. The company foresees continued strength in this segment, projecting sustained growth in laptop shipments in the coming year.

On the AI server front, Inventec acknowledges ongoing challenges due to tight material conditions and the impact of the U.S.-China chip ban, preventing certain orders from being shipped in the fourth quarter. However, the company expresses optimism about finding solutions and collaborating to expand upstream chip production capacity, anticipating improved shipment momentum in the AI server business in the first half of 2024. This strategic outlook positions Inventec for robust growth and enhanced performance in the coming year.
