IGS Corp., Taiwan’s leading gaming company, posted a 40% surge in 2024 net profit to NT$9.06 billion ($286 million) as it expanded operations in Southeast Asia and Europe.
The Taipei-based company reported earnings per share of NT$32.14 and revenue of NT$18.51 billion ($584 million), up 30% from the previous year. February sales reached a record NT$1.75 billion ($55 million), representing a 25.21% increase year-over-year.
For the first two months of 2025, IGS reported cumulative revenue of NT$3.5 billion ($110 million), up 29.23% compared to the same period last year.
The company’s product portfolio consists primarily of online games and commercial gaming machines, with casual games and gambling-related titles dominating its online offerings. Taiwan accounts for 30% of the company’s revenue, while the remainder comes from international markets. Both the United States and mainland China each contribute 12% to total sales, Japan accounts for 3%, and other markets make up 4%.
Looking ahead, IGS plans to continue expanding in European countries under its Malta gaming license while also applying for a UK gambling permit to further strengthen its global footprint.
