Giga-Byte Technology Co. reported a surge in revenue, fueled by robust AI server orders and a rebound in PC-related products. The Taiwanese hardware manufacturer saw its September sales double to NT$26.7 billion (US$841 million), marking the second-highest monthly figure in its history.
Third-quarter revenue reached NT$70.4 billion, slightly below the previous quarter but still the second-best quarterly performance on record. Year-to-date sales through September nearly doubled, jumping 118% to NT$199.5 billion.
Giga-Byte’s product mix shifted in Q3, with AI servers and PC components like motherboards and graphics cards now accounting for a 65:35 split, compared to 70:30 in Q2. The company cited strong demand for its H200 series AI servers and a boost in consumer products driven by major game releases.
Despite some order adjustments due to GPU roadmap changes, Giga-Byte remains optimistic about its outlook. The firm expects continued strength in AI orders and plans to ship products using NVIDIA’s next-generation Blackwell platform. However, supply constraints in consumer graphics cards have pushed some shipments into Q4.
