FADU made a significant impact at the 2024 Future of Memory and Storage (FMS) event in Silicon Valley by delivering a keynote address alongside Western Digital and Meta. The company outlined its vision for flash memory storage devices in the AI era, focusing on high-performance and high-efficiency SSD and controller technologies. FADU highlighted its strategy for next-generation data centers, emphasizing innovations like Compute Express Link (CXL) switches and advanced power management ICs (PMICs).
At its booth, FADU introduced the world’s first DRAMless enterprise SSD, designed to maximize efficiency. Other breakthroughs included Flexible Data Placement (FDP) and Address Translation Service (ATS) technologies, which underscore FADU’s leading position in enterprise SSD development. The company also showcased Gen6 SSD controllers and semiconductors for constructing AI data centers.
FADU has also strengthened its industry partnerships, formalizing collaborations with Western Digital and Biwin. In China, FADU and Biwin aim to develop and market enterprise SSDs for cloud and server/storage companies while jointly exploring consumer SSD markets. Their partnership also focuses on establishing production and testing facilities for SSD products tailored to the Chinese market.
As demand for advanced storage solutions grows in AI and data centers, FADU’s focus on high-performance, efficient technologies positions it as a leader in semiconductor innovation.
