E-LEAD Electronic reported record annual revenue of NT$46.23 billion ($1.46 billion) for 2024, up 22.76% year-on-year, driven by strong growth in head-up display (HUD) shipments and new product introductions.
The Taiwanese automotive electronics manufacturer saw operating profit surge 80.25% to NT$4.49 billion, with net income climbing 63.16% to NT$3.79 billion. Earnings per share reached NT$3.09, compared with NT$1.89 in 2023.
E-LEAD’s board approved a NT$2 per share dividend distribution for shareholders.
The company shipped nearly 500,000 HUD units to the Chinese market last year while maintaining steady growth in infotainment and advanced driver assistance systems in Southeast Asia. This performance helped boost gross margin to 25.9%.
February revenue faced temporary disruption due to Lunar New Year holidays and adjusted customer demand, with monthly revenue of NT$315 million showing a more modest 12.14% year-on-year increase.
E-LEAD is expanding beyond its strong position in China’s HUD market by securing new orders from Indian automakers. The company has developed new 3D spatial HUD technology and showcased its Panoramic HUD at CES, receiving positive feedback from international automakers.
The firm is also diversifying into the two-wheeler market with new electronics products for motorcycle manufacturers.
