E Ink Holdings, a leader in electronic paper technology, is set to make a significant impact at the Touch Taiwan 2024 Smart Display Exhibition starting April 24th. The company, along with 62 partners from the e-paper industry ecosystem, will highlight advancements in low-carbon, energy-efficient e-paper solutions including full-color and large-format displays.
This year, E Ink introduces a groundbreaking 88-inch color e-paper display, the largest of its kind, featuring an ultra-narrow 2mm frame. Utilizing E Ink Spectra 6 technology, this display is capable of rendering intricate textures and vibrant colors suitable for high-end retail and public information displays. Additionally, E Ink will showcase a 61-inch outdoor signage and a 72-inch banner signage, both designed for real-time information display in environments like retail spaces and transit stations.
The exhibition will also feature the latest in color e-paper technology for e-book readers and notebooks. Devices from brands like Kobo, Readmoo, and Bigme will be on display, demonstrating the shift towards color in the digital reading and writing market. Other notable exhibits include the E Ink Gallery 3 digital photo frame, which adjusts its lighting based on ambient conditions, and innovative applications in medical e-paper technology.
In a novel application, E Ink’s Prism 3 technology, which allows for dynamic color changes on surfaces, is being utilized in products ranging from mobile phones to automobiles, showcasing the versatility and potential of e-paper in modern design and decoration.
Furthermore, E Ink is launching a cloud service for digital outdoor advertising, aiming to streamline content delivery and enhance the efficiency of digital signage systems. This service, along with other smart applications demonstrated at the exhibition, underscores E Ink’s commitment to sustainability and innovation in the e-paper industry.
