Doosan Group reported third-quarter operating profit surged 110% to ₩231.3 billion ($165 million) as its electronics division capitalized on booming semiconductor demand. Revenue climbed 15% to ₩4.45 trillion ($3.18 billion) for the nine months through September, the company disclosed Sunday.

The parent company’s standalone business drove gains, with operating profit jumping 212% to ₩108.7 billion on revenue of ₩524.1 billion, up 60% from a year earlier. The electronics division delivered cumulative revenue of ₩1.32 trillion, nearly doubling year-over-year results as manufacturers ramped orders for copper-clad laminates used in AI accelerators and high-end memory chips.

Doosan Enerbility, the group’s power equipment arm, posted revenue of ₩3.88 trillion and operating profit of ₩137.1 billion, marking gains of 14% and 19% respectively. The unit secured ₩1.6 trillion in new orders during the quarter alone, pushing nine-month bookings to ₩5.39 trillion—a 70% increase. Management raised its full-year order guidance to ₩13-14 trillion from an initial ₩10.7 trillion target, eyeing contracts for two Czech nuclear reactors and additional gas turbines.

Construction equipment maker Doosan Bobcat reported quarterly revenue of ₩2.12 trillion and operating profit of ₩133.6 billion. North American sales climbed 17% in dollar terms while European markets advanced 16%, signaling recovery from last year’s downturn.
