Delta Electronics is pushing forward with its European expansion, planning to invest €42.3 million ($45.8 million) in a new regional headquarters in Hoofddorp, Netherlands. The project marks the latest step in the Taiwanese power management company’s global growth strategy.
The company’s subsidiary Delta International Holding has signed a construction contract with Park 20|20 Campus for €35.8 million ($38.8 million) to build the facility that will oversee operations across Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The land acquisition in Hoofddorp will cost an additional €6.5 million ($7 million).
This European initiative follows Delta’s recent global investments, including a new headquarters and R&D center in Bengaluru, India, which opened in September. The company has also strengthened its Japanese presence, acquiring Alps Alpine’s power inductor business for $71 million and purchasing real estate in Tokyo for ¥13.9 billion ($93 million).
Delta’s expansion reflects the growing demand for power management solutions in key markets. The new EMEA headquarters will support the company’s business development plans in the region, though specific growth targets haven’t been disclosed.
