Auras Technology expects its first-quarter revenue to grow in single digits, driven by increased demand for graphics card cooling and liquid cooling products. The momentum comes as NVIDIA prepares to release its RTX 5090 series graphics cards with higher power requirements.
The next-generation RTX 5090 will consume between 550 and 600 watts of power, significantly more than its predecessor RTX 4090. To manage the increased heat output, graphics card manufacturers are adopting vapor chamber technology more extensively than in previous generations.
Auras officials said the average selling price for RTX 5090 cooling solutions could increase 10-30% compared to RTX 4090 products, depending on the specific thermal design. While the RTX 4090 primarily used traditional heat pipe cooling, the RTX 5090 will implement a hybrid approach combining heat pipes with vapor chambers.
The company projects its graphics card cooling business to grow 30-40% year-over-year in 2025, helped by customers stockpiling components for the new generation cards. Its liquid cooling segment began shipping in small volumes in Q4 2024 and is expected to ramp up after March 2025.
Auras is also monitoring NVIDIA’s timeline for releasing its next-generation GB300 AI server chip, which could drive additional demand for liquid cooling plates.
