ANYCOLOR Inc. posted a 4.1% increase in net income to 4.68 billion yen ($32 million) for the six months ended October, weathering setbacks from merchandise shipping delays and canceled virtual influencer events.
Revenue at the Tokyo-based virtual entertainment company climbed 12% to 17.34 billion yen. The operator of NIJISANJI and NIJISANJI EN virtual YouTuber agencies now manages 166 digital performers, a net addition of eight compared to the previous year after considering new debuts and departures.
The company’s digital ecosystem continues to expand, with registered ANYCOLOR ID users growing 31% to 1.44 million. These IDs are required to access the NIJISANJI official store and fan club services.
Despite the mixed first-half performance, ANYCOLOR maintained its full-year forecast, projecting net income to rise 19% to 10.36 billion yen on revenue of 39 billion yen.
The results highlight both opportunities and challenges in the virtual entertainer industry, where talent retention and consistent content delivery remain crucial for sustainable growth.
