Aniplex, a subsidiary of Sony Music Entertainment, reported its financial results for the fiscal year ending March 2024, revealing a decline in key financial metrics. The company’s sales totaled 151,171 million yen, down 1.0% from the previous fiscal year. Despite the downturn, Aniplex continues to be a comprehensive entertainment company with a diverse portfolio that spans animation, games, music, stage performances, and events. The company remains active in developing new and engaging content for its global audience.

Among the latest games from Aniplex, both released and in development, are notable titles such as “Astarta Talicus,” “Alternavelt: Blue Exorcist Gaiden,” “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Aim to be the Strongest Soldier!,” and “Disney Twisted Wonderland.” Additionally, popular franchises like “Fate/Grand Order,” “Fate/stay night REMASTERED,” and “Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story” continue to be significant parts of Aniplex’s gaming lineup.

The company has shown resilience through its diverse entertainment offerings despite the financial setbacks of the past fiscal year. As Aniplex looks ahead, it aims to leverage its extensive catalog and upcoming projects to regain growth and profitability.
