Taiwanese computer maker Acer reported a 9.7% increase in annual revenue to NT$264.71 billion ($8.5 billion) in 2023, marking six consecutive quarters of year-over-year growth. The company’s core PC and display business grew 8.4% despite global market challenges.
The company’s diversification strategy showed results as non-PC revenue reached 29.3% of fourth-quarter sales, jumping 14.2% from the previous year. For the full year, non-PC operations contributed 28.3% of total revenue, up 15.5%.
Antheus Technology, Acer’s AI server and workstation unit, demonstrated strong momentum with a 42.5% revenue increase in the fourth quarter and 66.8% growth for the full year. Acer ITS, another subsidiary, posted annual growth of 19.4%.
December revenue climbed 3.69% year-over-year to NT$24.55 billion ($785 million), while fourth-quarter revenue rose 4.7% to NT$66.12 billion ($2.11 billion).
At CES 2025, Acer unveiled 30 new products, including AI-powered PCs and gaming devices. The company’s Aspire Vero 16 laptop, featuring a carbon-neutral chassis made from recycled plastics and oyster shell biomaterial, received recognition at the show.
