Foxconn Chairman Young Liu outlined ambitious revenue targets at Thursday’s shareholders meeting, projecting 2025 sales will exceed NT$7 trillion ($214 billion) as artificial intelligence server demand accelerates. The forecast represents a significant jump from the company’s record NT$6.8 trillion revenue in 2024.
Liu attributed the optimistic projections to robust AI server business growth, which the company expects to generate over NT$1 trillion ($30.5 billion) annually. Foxconn forecasts AI servers will account for 50% of total server revenue next year, capitalizing on partnerships with Nvidia and escalating demand for data center infrastructure.
The Taiwan-based manufacturer, which controls 44.2% of global electronics manufacturing according to Liu’s presentation, is positioning electric vehicles as its third growth pillar after information technology and AI products. The company recently secured its first major automotive client through a memorandum of understanding with Mitsubishi Motors, targeting Australia and New Zealand markets by late 2026.
Liu indicated discussions with additional Japanese automakers are progressing, though the company previously delayed its target of capturing 5% global EV market share by 2025. Foxconn’s shares have declined 17% this year despite strong financial performance, reflecting investor concerns about trade tensions and manufacturing concentration in China.
The revenue projection depends heavily on sustained AI infrastructure investment and successful automotive partnerships materializing.
