Fuji Television reported surpassing 100 million monthly views for the first time in July 2024 across its ad-supported streaming services. This includes the network’s platform FOD and the free catch-up service TVer. Strong viewership was fueled by high-performing dramas like The Sea’s Beginning and the return of long-running programs like FNS 27-Hour TV.

The network also saw a record 16.08 million monthly viewers and 50.79 million hours of streaming time, reflecting growing consumer preference for digital content. Fuji TV continues to bolster its presence in paid services, reaching over 1.5 million subscribers for its FOD platform by August 2024.

With a focus on expanding into manga and magazine content alongside its video offerings, the company is adapting to shifting viewing habits. As competition from other Tokyo-based broadcasters intensifies, Fuji Television remains committed to integrating traditional broadcasting with its growing streaming operations.
