Samsung Electronics introduced the latest advancements in Galaxy AI at Galaxy Unpacked 2024. The event, held on July 10 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, showcased a series of new products set to enhance user experiences through cutting-edge AI technology.
Attendees were welcomed by banners around the iconic venue, signaling the significance of the launch. The event spotlighted the expanded capabilities of Galaxy AI, featuring the debut of the Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Watch7, and Galaxy Buds3 series.
The presentation began with a captivating video showcasing Paris landmarks like the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, leading to the unveiling at the Louvre. TM Roh, President and Head of Mobile eXperience at Samsung, emphasized Samsung’s commitment to making AI innovations widely accessible, announcing that Galaxy AI would be available on 200 million devices this year.
The Galaxy Ring, central to Samsung’s healthcare vision, offers personalized health monitoring around the clock. The Galaxy Watch Ultra, the most advanced in the Galaxy Watch lineup, boasts state-of-the-art sensors and rugged design, ideal for adventurous lifestyles. Equipped with Wear OS 5, developed with Google, it promises high power efficiency and comprehensive features.
Samsung’s foldable phones, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6, impressed with their thin, lightweight designs and advanced hinge technology. The Z Fold6 integrates AI features like Circle to Search for easy translations and Composer for email drafting. The Z Flip6 enhances self-expression with its AI camera and FlexCam, supporting hands-free photography.
The Galaxy Buds3 and Buds3 Pro were also introduced, featuring AI that adapts to surroundings for superior audio quality. Long-time partners Google and Qualcomm announced further collaborations, including an upcoming XR platform.
Attendees, including influencers and tech journalists, praised the innovations. Influencer Ugnė Graželyte highlighted the improved camera on the Z Flip6, while Greek editor Petros Kypraios commended the Galaxy Ring’s innovation and the Flip6’s battery performance.
American actress Sydney Sweeney, from the TV series Euphoria, also made an appearance, expressing admiration for the new colors of the Z Flip6. The event concluded with attendees exploring the new devices in the experience zone, eager to test Samsung’s latest advancements.
