Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics emerge as top winners with a collective total of 61 CES Innovation Awards in anticipation of CES 2024, the world’s premier home appliance and information technology (IT) exhibition in Las Vegas. The awards, presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), celebrate outstanding functionality, aesthetics, and innovation in electronic products and services globally.

Samsung earns 28 innovation awards, with 14 in video displays, 5 in mobile devices, and 8 in home appliances. Notably, the video display sector includes three ‘Best Innovation Awards.’ Recognized products span AI-based SmartThings Energy and Samsung Food in home appliances, foldable smartphone Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Watch 6 series, Galaxy Buds FE, and health solution Samsung Health in mobile devices.

LG secures an impressive 33 innovation awards, surpassing the previous year’s record, including 2 ‘Best Innovation Awards.’ The LG Organic Light Emitting Diode (OLED) TV, a consistent winner for 12 years, claims 12 awards in various categories. Standout innovations include ‘LG StandbyMe Go,’ LG Signature Washer and Dryer, ‘Universal Up Kit,’ and the novel capsule coffee machine ‘Duobo.’

Additionally, Korean healthcare companies like Coway, Ceragem, and Bodyfriend are recognized for innovative solutions, enhancing Korea’s presence in the healthcare device sector at CES 2024.
