NVIDIA’s revenue for the second quarter of fiscal 2025 soared to $30 billion, marking a 15% increase from the previous quarter and a 122% surge year-over-year. This growth was fueled by the expanding adoption of generative AI and accelerated computing technologies, particularly in data centers, which generated a record $26.3 billion in revenue.

Notably, NVIDIA’s progress in Asia contributed significantly to its performance. In Japan, the company advanced sovereign AI capabilities with the ABCI 3.0 supercomputer, integrating H200 GPUs and NVIDIA Quantum-2 InfiniBand networking. Similarly, in Korea, NVIDIA’s AI and robotics platforms continue to gain traction, with leading manufacturers adopting the company’s technology to enhance production and automation. Meanwhile, in Taiwan, major electronics makers are leveraging NVIDIA’s AI solutions to create more autonomous factories, combining vision AI, simulation, and robotics.

NVIDIA’s GAAP earnings per share climbed to $0.67, reflecting a 168% year-over-year increase. Non-GAAP earnings also saw a substantial rise, up 152% to $0.68 per share. However, the company faced slight pressure on gross margins due to increased operating expenses.

In addition to its operational achievements, NVIDIA returned $15.4 billion to shareholders through stock buybacks and dividends in the first half of fiscal 2025. The board also approved an additional $50 billion in share repurchase authorization, signaling confidence in continued growth.

NVIDIA’s strong foothold in AI adoption across key Asian markets positions the company for further expansion, as demand for AI-driven solutions continues to rise globally.
