NCSOFT Corp., the South Korean game developer, announced a delay in the global release of its highly anticipated game, Throne and Liberty (TL). Initially set for a September 17 launch, the release has been rescheduled for October 1. The company cited feedback from a July open beta test as the reason for the delay, aiming to improve the gaming experience before its global debut.
In partnership with Amazon Games, NCSOFT will roll out early access for TL on September 26, targeting North and South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan. The game will be available on multiple platforms, including Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series S and X, and will support various languages to cater to its global audience.
While the delay may disappoint eager players, NCSOFT’s decision reflects its focus on delivering a polished product. The collaboration with Amazon Games signals the company’s ambition to expand its reach in the competitive global gaming market.
