LG Electronics showcased its 2025 premium TV lineup featuring advanced AI capabilities and improved display technologies at an event held Tuesday at LG Science Park in Seoul.
The new models include a dedicated AI button on remote controls that provides access to an “AI Concierge” for personalized content recommendations with a short press, while holding the button activates voice recognition for functions including AI search and customized screen and sound settings.
LG’s flagship OLED displays, which received the industry’s first “Perfect Black” certification from UL Solutions, now incorporate brightness enhancement technology that achieves luminance levels three times higher than standard OLED TVs. The 2025 models are powered by the new “Alpha 11” processor specifically designed for OLED picture and sound optimization.
The company’s premium LCD offering, QNED TV, features improved color reproduction through its “Dynamic QNED Color Solution.” All new QNED models have received 100% Color Volume certification from Intertek, validating their color accuracy.
LG’s 2025 TVs are the first in the industry to support 4K content at variable refresh rates up to 165Hz, a feature particularly beneficial for gaming.
The new products will be available in South Korea beginning March 18 before rolling out to global markets, as LG continues its dual-track strategy focusing on both OLED and premium LCD technologies.
