South Korean garment maker Hansae Co. has acquired Texollini Inc., a leading US textile manufacturer known for its expertise in synthetic fibers. Founded in 1989, Texollini specializes in fabric production, dyeing, printing, and research and development, serving major clients such as New Balance, Champion, Patagonia, and Alo Yoga.

The acquisition is expected to enhance Hansae’s synthetic fiber technology and align with the growing nearshoring trend, which is driving the relocation of production closer to the US. Texollini’s Long Beach, California, facility is strategically located near major transportation networks, making it an ideal hub for efficient logistics within the US.

Hansae plans to leverage Texollini’s capabilities to expand its product offerings in activewear, underwear, and swimwear. With operations in nine countries and 20 subsidiaries, Hansae aims to use this acquisition to strengthen its global footprint and better serve its North American market.
