Delta Electronics, a leading power supply manufacturer, announced on July 12 that its latest liquid cooling system products have been sent to customers for verification. Chairman Ping Cheng highlighted that AI remains the strongest growth driver this year, with overall market conditions exceeding expectations. The company forecasts a modest increase in full-year revenue and profits compared to last year.
Historically, server cooling relied on air-cooling solutions, but Delta’s new products, including the B100, are transitioning to liquid-cooling technologies. This shift is crucial as AI applications demand more efficient cooling systems. Delta’s unique leading technologies in this area are progressing well, with new products currently undergoing customer verification.
Delta Electronics is a key supplier in NVIDIA’s supply chain, integrating power supply, cooling, and passive components to offer a comprehensive AI power solution. The company has capitalized on NVIDIA’s AI chip opportunities, securing orders for the Blackwell series B100, B200, and GB200 chips.
In the first quarter of this year, AI server revenue accounted for about 4% to 5% of Delta’s total revenue. The company’s global market share in server power supplies exceeds 50%, with a 75% share in the higher-end DC-DC market. While many current AI cooling solutions are air-cooled, the next generation of AI servers will utilize Delta’s advanced liquid cooling technologies. The company expects related revenue to increase rapidly by 2025.
