Advantech has become the first company to fully integrate MediaTek’s generative AI service platform, MediaTek DaVinci, into its operations. Announced on August 15, this strategic collaboration is aimed at enhancing employee productivity and fostering AI-driven innovation across the organization.
The platform, based on MediaTek’s Generative AI Service Framework, allows for the development of custom AI applications and emphasizes high data security and flexibility. Advantech’s adoption of this platform aligns with its “Everyday AI” strategy, focusing on embedding AI into daily tasks to improve efficiency.
To encourage AI adoption, Advantech has launched internal innovation competitions, covering areas like office applications, marketing, and customer service. The company believes that widespread AI implementation is key to creating value and driving innovation in Taiwan’s AI industry.
MediaTek’s DaVinci platform, launched earlier this year, supports multiple large language models, including the Traditional Chinese model MR Breeze. The collaboration aims to demonstrate the scalability and flexibility of AI in business environments, with hopes of attracting more companies to embrace generative AI.
Looking ahead, the partnership is expected to extend into the development of edge AI products, positioning Taiwan as a leader in the global AI race.
