In addition, the company plans and designs mechanical equipment for weirs, floodgates, locks, sluice pipes and gates, floodwall gates, and drainage pump stations in river systems; dam discharge facilities; and water treatment facilities for water supply and sewerage systems. The company was formerly known as Kensetsu Gijyutsu Co., Ltd. and changed its name to CTI Engineering Co., Ltd. in February 1964. The company was founded in 1944 and is headquartered in Chuo, Japan.
