The Commercial Banking Business segment provides current and time deposits, as well as negotiable certificates of deposit; personal and SME loans; and securities investment and foreign exchange services. The Leasing Business segment consists of financial leasing, and computer processing contract business. The Credit Card and Credit Guarantee Business segment comprises credit card and guarantee business. It also trades in securities, as well as offers investment fund management, consulting, and regional economic survey services. The company was formerly known as Iwate Shokusan Bank and changed its name to The Bank of Iwate, Ltd. in 1960. The Bank of Iwate, Ltd. was incorporated in 1932 and is headquartered in Morioka, Japan.
