It also trades in securities, as well as offers investment fund management, renewable energy-related business, consulting, and regional economic survey services. The company was formerly known as Iwate Shokusan Bank and changed its name to The Bank of Iwate, Ltd. in 1960. The Bank of Iwate, Ltd. was incorporated in 1932 and is headquartered in Morioka, Japan.
