The Musical Instruments segment offers pianos; digital musical instruments; and wind, string, and percussion instruments; as well as other music-related activities. Its Audio Equipment segment provides audio products; professional audio equipment; information and telecommunication equipment; and other products. The Others segment is involved in the electronic devices business, automobile interior wood components, factory automation equipment, golf products, resort, and other businesses. Yamaha Corporation was founded in 1887 and is headquartered in Hamamatsu, Japan.
