The System Solutions segment provides computer systems engineering and consulting services; IT-enabled outsourcing and other services. It also offers galvanized sheets, coated sheets, and construction materials; steelmaking fluxes, and CC powders; makes and markets steel pipes and tubes, stainless steel, bars and wire rods, welding materials, apparatuses, drums, stainless-steel pipes, railway wheels and axles. The company was formerly known as Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Corporation and changed its name to Nippon Steel Corporation in April 2019. The company was incorporated in 1950 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
