The company provides agricultural chemicals, such as herbicides, such as bensulfuron-methyl, bispyribac-sodium, fenoxasulfone, fenquinotrione, pyriminobac-methyl, pyrimisulfan, pyrithiobac-sodium, pyroxasulfone, and thiobencarb; fungicides, including benthiavalicarb-isopropyl, dichlobentiazox, mepanipyrim, mepronil, and pyribencarb; and prohexadione-calcium. It also offers fine chemicals comprising chlorotoluenes, chlorobenzyl chlorides, chlorobenzotrichlorides, chlorobenzaldehydes, chlorobenzoyl chlorides, phenoxyphenols, and phosphines. In addition, the company provides amine curing agents for urethane and epoxy resins. The company was formerly known as Ihara Agrochemical Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Kumiai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. in October 1968.
