This segment also supplies key raw materials to global in-vitro diagnostics companies through a CDMO business model; offers Lumipulse, an automated chemiluminescence enzyme immunoassay system that offers reagents; and rapid diagnostics kits that serves as a platform for testing infectious diseases such as influenza and COVID-19. The Healthcare-related Services segment provides in-house sterilization services at the central supply rooms in hospitals and external sterilization at the sterilization centers; and offers operating and endoscopy room support, medical equipment maintenance and inspection, and logistics management and transportation services. This segment also engages in the sale of medical equipment, supplies, and consumables related to central supply and operating rooms; provision of home medical care and nursing services; and rental of nursing care equipment, such as wheelchairs and nursing beds. The company was formerly known as Miraca Holdings Inc. and changed its name to H.U. Group Holdings, Inc. in July 2020. H.U. Group Holdings, Inc. was incorporated in 1950 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
