Asahi Yukizai Corporation, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the piping and foundry materials, resins, and water treatment and natural resources exploitation businesses in Japan. It operates through three segments: Piping System Business, Resin Business, and Water Treatment and Resource Development Business. The Piping System Business segment offers ASAHIAV manual and automatic valves, and vinyl pipes and fittings; Dymatrix products for semiconductor and flat panel display process needs; Falconics flow control systems; and various mixers. The segment is also involved in the design, production, and construction of various equipment and facilities. The Resin Business segment provides phenol resin products used in the casting process, photoresists, and various other fields; resin coated sand and aggregate products used in molds; and polyurethane insulation and urethane products for housing, construction, and civil engineering fields. The Water Treatment and Resource Development Business segment engages in the development and supply of hydrothermal resources; design and construction of water utility facilities and reuse of wastewater; operation of public sewage facilities; treatment of industrial water and wastewater; prevention of environmental pollution and purification; and provision of environmental equipment and systems, and maintenance and management services. The company was formerly known as Asahi Organic Chemicals Industry Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Asahi Yukizai Corporation in April 2016. Asahi Yukizai Corporation was incorporated in 1945 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
