The company is involved in the trading of electronic and advanced materials, including materials for electronic materials and components, minor metal and rare earth raw materials (ore and ingot), and battery-related parts and materials. It also engages in the manufacture of equipment and materials related to inspection and measurement of products, and materials used in testing equipment, automotive, chemical products and new materials fields; and electronic devices, plating materials for semiconductors and busbars for power distribution. In addition, the company involved in the aluminum and copper, contains base metal products and titanium roll flat materials, and base metal materials; metal processing, which include precision cutting parts used in industrial machinery, such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment, air conditioning equipment, and aircraft engines; grinding parts in fields of semiconductors, automobiles, and industrial machinery; and metal stamped parts, automobiles, batteries, and IT equipment fields. The company was formerly known as Nissho Iwai Alconix Corporation and changed its name to ALCONIX Corporation in April 2005. ALCONIX Corporation was incorporated in 1981 and is headquartered in Chiyoda, Japan.
