It offers ethylene vinyl acetate copolymers, medium and low-density polyethylene, high density polyethylene resin, and cyclic block copolymers; industrial and architectural paints and coatings; and optical products and fireproof materials business. The company is also involved in investment business; import, export, and trade; import and distribution of chemical raw materials and products; solar power generation, venture capital, and reinvestment business; management of chemical products, equipment, and plastic products; wholesale of electronic materials; and warehousing of petrochemical raw materials. In addition, it is engaged in business management services; environmental testing; production and sales of optical products and fire proof materials, stretch film, embossed film, industrial use multi-layer wrap, manganese-zinc soft ferrite powder, and medium-density polyethylene; manufacturing and marketing of sapphire crystal, vinyl chloride monomer and related petrochemical, PVC powder, PVC film and three-stage processed products, and soft ferrite core products; production, sales, development of EVA packaging films and other value-added plastic products; commission agency services; and provision of property management. Further, the company produces and sells polystyrene, acrylonitrile, butadiene, resin, glass wool insulation products, and plastic raw materials; polystyrene derivatives; plastic sheets, skins, tubes, pellets, powder, and related products; styrene polymer derivatives; multifunctional membranes and photolytic films. It sells its products under the EVATHENE, PAXOTHENE, UNITHENE, LINATHENE, ViviOn, and FREVA brands. The company was formerly known as USI Far East Corporation. USI Corporation was incorporated in 1965 and is based in Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
