The company distributes ICT devices, such as laptops, tablet PCs, ICT accessories, and used mobile phones; operates telecom and broadband networks; trades in steel and energy products, as well as petrochemicals, such as purified terephthalic acid, monoethylene glycol, styrene monomer, methanol, and polyurethane; distributes and exports automobile parts, which include tires; and invests in AI, Web3, and sustainability domains. It is also involved in the manufacture, sale, and rental of electrical and electronic devices; and operation of hotels and resorts under the Grand Walkerhill Seoul, Vista Walkerhill Seoul, Douglas House, and Darakhyu brands, as well as restaurants and gold club houses. In addition, the company offers IT solutions and communication system equipment; logistics; solution customization, shipping, and installation services for ICT devices; network infrastructure administration management and global IT HW/SW distribution; systematic data management consulting services; DATAWARE, an integrated data management solution; PlayData Academy for training IT professionals; and catering services. Further, it provides home appliance rental; automobile-related services, including car maintenance, emergency roadside services, and import car maintenance; and Cheiron, a modular retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)-based solution for the medical and pharmaceutical fields. The company was formerly known as SK Global Company Ltd. and changed its name to SK Networks Company Limited in September 2003. SK Networks Company Limited was founded in 1953 and is headquartered in Suwon-si, South Korea.
