Korean auto maker Hyundai Motor (ticker: 005380.Korea) announced it will adopt the North American Charging Standard, or NACS. Starting in the fourth quarter of 2024, Hyundai vehicles for the North American market will have a charging socket that fits a Tesla plug. The benefit for Hyundai is the decision makes it easy for Hyundai EV drivers to access the more than 12,000 Tesla fast chargers spread around North America.
