This merger, announced in February 2023, brings together a powerhouse with over 320 million users across various services. Tsuyoshi Idezawa, a longstanding leader at LINE, takes the helm as LINE Yahoo’s President and CEO. Idezawa emphasized the company’s commitment to delivering innovative services that enhance user experiences and contribute positively to the world. Additionally, the merger brings about the launch of the LINE Yahoo Tech Blog, a platform for sharing engineering insights and case studies.
