Gudeng Precision Industrial is riding the artificial intelligence boom, with the Taiwanese chip packaging supplier projecting its revenue to reach NT$10 billion ($315 million) next year for the first time.
The company reported earnings per share of NT$4.39 ($0.14) in the third quarter, its second-best quarterly performance ever. The results brought its nine-month earnings to NT$9.63 per share, nearly matching its full-year profit from 2023.

The semiconductor packaging specialist is expanding its global footprint alongside major customers, focusing on Chip-on-Wafer-on-Substrate (CoWoS) solutions. The company has secured new orders from clients in the US, Japan, and South Korea, boosting shipments of mask and wafer carriers.

Gudeng Precision’s third-quarter gross margin hit 48%, while the nine-month average stood at 46%. The company partnered with local supplier Knight for high-cleanliness compounds, maintaining dedicated production lines in clean rooms to meet advanced packaging requirements.
