SK Telecom Co. expanded its artificial intelligence offering beyond mobile devices, launching a web version of its A. (A Dot) personal assistant that incorporates multiple large language models from different providers.
The South Korean telecom giant’s new service allows users to interact with eight AI models through standard web browsers, including three versions each of OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Anthropic’s Claude, along with Perplexity and the company’s own A.X model.
During the beta phase, SK Telecom is providing free access to premium models like GPT-4, while planning to add more options including Google’s Gemini and newer OpenAI releases. The platform maintains conversation context even when users switch between different AI models.
The move signals SK Telecom’s push to compete in the growing AI assistant market, where major tech companies are racing to establish dominance. By aggregating multiple AI models in one interface, the company aims to differentiate its service from single-model offerings by competitors.
The platform’s comparison feature lets users test responses from different AI models to the same query, potentially helping them evaluate which model best suits their needs.
