Primax Electronics Reports Decline in September Revenue, Focuses on AI and Sensory Fusion Solutions

Taiwanese technology company Primax Electronics reported a September revenue of NT$5.37 billion, down 2.6% year-over-year. Despite the drop, third-quarter consolidated revenue showed a 4.2% quarterly increase to NT$16 billion, with a slight 1.8% rise from the previous year. Cumulative revenue for the first three quarters stood at NT$45.03 billion, reflecting a 3.1% decrease year-over-year.

Primax Electronics is leveraging its “X-in-one Sensory Fusion” technology to build an integrated multi-sensor ecosystem. Targeting sectors from smart cities to industrial automation, the technology is designed for applications in public safety and AIoT (AI-driven Internet of Things) vision solutions for B2B markets. Alongside this, Primax Electronics is penetrating niche markets with AI solutions such as industrial vision and acoustic detection, responding to the demand for diversified intelligent systems.

In the automotive industry, Primax Electronics offers products like Acoustic Vehicle Alerting Systems (AVAS), external sound receivers, and in-car audio systems. The company is also expanding into high-end consumer audio, video conferencing equipment, and full-face headphones, aiming to enhance its product range and competitiveness in the global market.
