HEROZ announced its consolidated financial results for the fiscal year ending April 2024, reporting robust sales of 4.841 billion yen, a 62.4% increase from the previous fiscal year. The company also achieved an operating profit of 451 million yen, up 75.0%, and an ordinary profit of 368 million yen, a 70.6% increase. However, HEROZ recorded a net loss of 1.134 billion yen, compared to a loss of 574 million yen the previous year.
The significant growth in sales and profits is attributed to the company’s strengthened sales structure and the strong performance of “Kishin Learning,” which has driven growth in both its BtoB and BtoC businesses. Additionally, the acquisition of AI Square contributed positively to the company’s profits.
Despite these gains, HEROZ faced extraordinary losses, including a lump-sum write-off of 891 million yen of goodwill and an impairment loss of 184 million yen on goodwill related to the subsidiary Strategic. The write-off was necessitated by the decline in the market price of VarioSecure shares.
Business Outlook for FY2025:
